Application Deadline: The Impact Challenge

The Impact Challenge offers applicants the chance to compete for a $15,000 grand prize for their social venture. With a focus on socially minded entrepreneurship and advancing startups, this challenge helps inspire, connect, and accelerate new ventures and their student founders. The five chosen teams receive a month of mentorship from top business executives, as well as the chance to compete at the International Conference for $15,000 in seed funding.

Application Deadline: KickStart Venture Services Commercialization Awards

The KickStart Award Program helps early-stage companies meet commercial milestones, either on the technical or business side. Requests for application are solicited on a quarterly basis from faculty founders. The awards are in the $25,000 to $50,000 range depending the on the company’s needs.

Application Deadline: NCET2 Startup Development Program

Carolina Thrift Sale

Our inaugural sale will take place on Saturday, August 18th from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of Carolina's Student Union. It is scheduled to take place on the second day of freshman move-in as a part of UNC's annual Week of Welcome.
